Logical and entertaining problems (300 problems). Class hour on the topic: Game for high school students "The Weakest Link"

Purpose of the game: an informal cross-section of the knowledge of students in grades 9-11 while solving problems of integrated content in natural science subjects.

Progress of the game: the game is carried out by methodological associations of natural science and mathematics teachers. Participating teams are from grades 9–11, with 7 people per class. The game consists of 4 rounds.

1st round. Presentation of one ingenious discovery of humanity.

2nd round. Knowledge auction: teams give answers to the questions presented, the questions are read to everyone at once, whoever gives the correct answer faster.

3rd round. Erudite Sprint: each team is asked 15 questions, and must answer more questions within a certain time.

4th round. Risk version of the “Encyclopedia of a Healthy Lifestyle”: each team is asked 4 questions, if the team takes risks, i.e. answers without preparation, she receives 2 points for the correct answer. If a team plays, i.e. discusses the answer for 20 seconds, she gets 1 point for the correct answer. If a team does not give the correct answer, opponents can try the given question and receive 1 point if they answer correctly.

Equipment: computer and media projector, black box, portraits of great scientists.

Scenario.

Leading high school students:

Presenter 1: Hello dear friends!

Presenter 2: Today we are holding the intellectual game “Brilliance is Nearby,” on November 10 the whole world celebrated Science Day. On this day, scientists and inventors were honored for their unpredictable flight of thought, for the greatest and not so great discoveries that have changed and are changing our lives.

Presenter 1: Teams of students in grades 9–11 take part in the game. The participants are the intellectual elite of the classes, those who, with their knowledge, intelligence, and erudition, have the honor of representing their class. We wish everyone good luck!

Presenter 2: Let me introduce the jury.

Chairman of the jury:

Jury members:

  1. Mathematics expert
  2. Physics Expert
  3. Chemistry expert
  4. Biology Expert

Presenter 1: Dear friends, listen to the rules of our game. The game consists of 4 rounds:

1st round. Presentation of one brilliant discovery or invention that has qualitatively changed the life of mankind. Not necessarily as large-scale as the hadron collider, but unlike it, noticeably useful and necessary. This was homework for each team and is graded on a ten-point scale.

2nd round. Knowledge auction: teams give answers to the questions presented, the questions are read to everyone at once, whoever gives the correct answer faster. For each correct answer the team receives 1 point.

3rd round. Erudite Sprint: each team is asked 15 questions, and must answer more questions within a certain time. For each correct answer the team receives 1 point.

Before we start our game, we invite each team to think about a team name.

Presenter 2: So, let's start the first round.

1st round “Brilliant discoveries of humanity”

Teams present presentations of ingenious discoveries of humanity from the following:

  • opening a computer
  • discovery of penicillin
  • opening the phone
  • photo discovery
  • opening of television
  • discovery of x-rays
  • opening of the telescope

2nd round “Knowledge Auction”

1. Gallery of great people.

This outstanding scientist famously said: “Science is a drama of ideas.” Once in an interview he was asked: “How do inventions appear that remake the world?” “Very simply,” he answered, “everyone knows that it is impossible to do this.” By chance there is an ignoramus who does not know this. He makes inventions.” This scientist was born in Germany in the city of Ulm, which is considered to be the “City of Mathematicians”. Predilection for the exact sciences and music to the detriment of other disciplines was the reason for negative reviews of his abilities from teachers. His 9 years of work at the Federal Patent Office were extremely fruitful, where he created famous theories of physics that brought him world fame and the Nobel Prize (Albert Einstein).

2. Why is it recommended to wind a wrist watch in the morning, and not in the evening, when you remove it from your hand? (Answer: In a watch that has just been removed from your hand, the spring is heated by hand. Being wound up to capacity, as it cools down, the spring contracts, shortens and can burst).

3. 2010 has been declared the Year of the Teacher. Everyone knows the emblem and the main prize of the All-Russian competition “Teacher of the Year” - the crystal pelican. Why is the pelican considered a symbol of selfless self-sacrifice? (Answer: pelican chicks, crawling deep into the throats of their parents, feed on the food brought for them, often tearing it out with blood.)

5. If you believe the ancient historian, during the campaign of A. Macedonsky to India, the officers of his army suffered from gastrointestinal diseases less often than soldiers. Their food and drink were the same, but their metal utensils were different. What metal was the officer's utensils made of? (Answer: Made from silver, it has bactericidal properties.)

6. Attention! Black box.

The box contains a device, the benefits of which were already known to Peter I. M.V. Lomonosov, the first scientist to systematically use it in his scientific works, wrote about it in his poem:

Having added to the growth of things, it is, if we need it.
Shows herbal analysis and medical knowledge.
Since there are many... he revealed secrets to us,
Invisible particles and secret veins in the body.
What kind of device is this? (Answer: Microscope.)

7. Can the sound of a large explosion on the Moon be heard on earth? (Answer: No, sound does not travel in a vacuum, since there is no elastic medium.)

8. Is it possible to use galvanized buckets and barrels for preparing whitewash solutions? (Answer: Zinc is a reactive metal; it easily reacts with acids and alkalis. Whitewash has an alkaline reaction, so zinc dissolves slowly in it.)

9. Why are street manhole covers made round and not square? (Answer: If the square lid is placed on its edge, it may slide into the hatch.)

10. Attention! Black box.

An outstanding Englishman. At first, during his school years, he studied poorly and was physically weak. Then he begins to work hard and takes first place in school and maintains it until graduation. Subsequently he became known throughout the world. We constantly use his binomial, the apparatus for calculating infinitesimals, optical research, and the fundamentals of his mechanics today, solving both terrestrial and cosmic problems. (Newton.)

11. Aluminum is more abundant in the earth's crust than iron. Why is it more expensive? (Answer: Both aluminum and iron occur as compounds. But iron is reduced in blast furnaces, and aluminum is reduced by electrolysis, which is more labor-intensive and more expensive.

12. Why does it become warmer when it snows in winter? (Answer: Crystallization releases energy.)

13. Attention! Black box.

When he made his most important discovery, he was 35 years old. By this time he had already become a professor at St. Petersburg University, an author of textbooks, and a famous scientist. He was interested in aeronautics, oil refining, the production of smokeless gunpowder, meteorology, astronomy, and chemistry. He acquired a small estate in the Pskov region, where he grew strange fruits. Professors from the Agricultural Academy came to study his experience. He worked in the Main Chamber of Weights and Measures. He was a member of 71 foreign scientific societies. His name is immortalized in the name of one of the chemical elements (Answer: D.I. Mendeleev).

14. Which chemical element consists of two animals?

(Answer: arsenic)

15. The task is a joke.

My husband weighs six pounds. How much does the whole family weigh? (The husband’s weight is enough to solve the problem) (Answer: the wife is his half, the children are their product: 6 + 3 + 18 = 27 poods).

Relevance.

In the modern world, the education of an individual with an active position in the field of responsibility and independence, tolerance and respect for people, an individual who has absorbed the best achievements of culture, is of particular relevance. It is at school that it is necessary to lay the foundations of self-education in students and create a sustainable focus on self-improvement, conscious and purposeful development of the individual.

Goal: to help the student in self-realization as a success-oriented individual, possessing the socially necessary qualities of a cultured person.

  • demonstration of the specifics of work at various stages of the creative process;
  • practicing team interaction skills at each of these stages;
  • training skills for group creative work;
  • formation of spontaneity and fluency of thinking.

Personal growth is self-discovery and realization. This is moving forward, towards your destiny. This is constant self-improvement and personal development. These are daily victories over yourself, over your fears and other negative emotions. Personal growth is the path to happiness and success.

In order to make yourself happy, it is first important to take responsibility for your life.

It is also important to believe in yourself. Faith is your best helper, your inspirer. Faith is an important condition for personal growth

And the last thing is your activity. Without action and self-discipline, you will not achieve the desired result.

Stage I. Acquaintance

(organization of group interaction)

Exercise 1. “Greeting”

Participants are invited to give their training name and express their wishes to the group regarding further joint work.

At the end of the exercise, the group repeats a brief summary of the wishes expressed in the form of slogans, which are recorded on a piece of Whatman paper.

Exercise 2. “Compliment”

1. Each participant in the circle must give a compliment to a neighbor based on his specific quality (appearance, behavior, character), expressing the compliment in one phrase: “You...”

2. Each participant is invited to compliment the group as a whole: “You all...”

At the end of the exercise, a generalization of statements is made: “It turns out we...”

Stage II. Developmental

“Orchard” method

Goal - the method will allow you to better understand the class and each student; the materials obtained can be used in preparing and conducting lessons to ensure a person-centered approach to students.

This method will allow students to more clearly define their educational goals, voice their expectations and concerns, so that teachers can know them and take them into account in the educational process.

Time – 20 minutes.

Preparation: Templates of apples and lemons prepared in advance from colored paper, felt-tip pens, poster, tape.

Carrying out:

Two large posters with a tree drawn on each of them are prepared in advance. One tree is labeled “Apple Tree”, the second is labeled “Lemon Tree”. Students are also given large apples and lemons cut out of paper in advance.

The teacher invites students to try to more clearly define what they expect (would like to receive) from learning and what they fear. There may be several expectations and concerns. Expectations/concerns include forms and methods of teaching, style and methods of working in lessons, atmosphere in the classroom, attitude of teachers and classmates, etc.

Students are asked to write down their expectations on apples and their fears on lemons. Those who wrote down go to the corresponding trees and use tape to attach the fruits to the branches. After all students have attached their fruit to the trees, the teacher calls them out. After voicing expectations and concerns, you can organize a discussion and systematization of the formulated goals, wishes and concerns. During the discussion, it is possible to clarify the recorded expectations and concerns. At the end of the method, the teacher summarizes the clarification of expectations and concerns.

Exercise “Groomer”

In the first case, the players try to convey the state of a person through facial expressions and color, and in the second, through makeup. In both cases, it is taken into account how reliably the child conveyed the state of the person he saw.

The players draw tokens and set the order of participation. Then they sit in a semicircle. The first player draws a card with a task, and then only using facial expressions (without gestures) depicts the feeling or state of a person given to him. The rest must guess. Tasks can be as follows: express anger, fatigue, fun, cunning, despondency, pity, etc.

Then the same states must be expressed through color. This will help children in the future choose the most appropriate makeup for the next task. Each child is given a sheet of paper, paints and brushes. You have 3 minutes to complete this part of the game. After selecting a color, the players must explain why they believe that this particular color conveys a given state of a person. The winner is the one who most correctly depicts the given state of a person and chooses a color for him.

In the second option, players must divide into pairs and apply makeup to their partner’s face, characterizing the state of the person that was assigned to them. It can also be fun and joy (rosy cheeks, wrinkles around the eyes), pain (pushed eyebrows, dark complexion), fatigue (swollen eyelids, drooping corners of the lips) and other emotions. In addition to makeup, you can use various additions - wigs, glasses, bows, etc. At the same time, no one should know about the task itself except the make-up artist himself, in order to later check the result of the work. That is, to expose the person wearing makeup to the audience and ask them to determine his condition and feelings.

Relaxation.

Method “Earth, air, fire and water”.

The goal is to increase the energy level in the classroom.

Time– 8-10 minutes.

Carrying out:

The teacher asks the students, at his command, to depict one of the states - air, earth, fire and water.

Air. Students begin to breathe deeper than usual. They stand up and take a deep breath and then exhale. Everyone imagines that his body, like a large sponge, greedily absorbs oxygen from the air. Everyone is trying to hear how the air enters the nose, to feel how it fills the chest and shoulders, arms to the very tips of the fingers; how the air flows in the head area, in the face; air fills the stomach, pelvic area, hips, knees and flows further - to the ankles, feet and fingertips.

Students take several deep breaths. You can invite everyone to yawn a couple of times. At first it turns out rather artificially, but sometimes after this a real yawn occurs. Yawning is a natural way to compensate for the lack of oxygen. (Yawning can also be used in another way: at the first meeting, you can suggest yawning deliberately to help the group “perk up” more quickly).

Earth. Students should now make contact with the ground, become grounded, and feel confident. The teacher, together with the students, begins to press hard on the floor, standing in one place, you can stomp your feet and even jump up a couple of times. You can rub your feet on the floor and spin around. The goal is to gain a new awareness of your legs, which are farthest from the center of consciousness, and thanks to this bodily sensation, feel greater stability and confidence.

Fire. Students actively move their arms, legs, and bodies, depicting flames. The teacher invites everyone to feel the energy and warmth in their body when they move in this way.

Water. This part of the exercise contrasts with the previous one. Students simply imagine that the room is turning into a pool, and make soft, free movements in the “water”, making sure that the joints move - hands, elbows, shoulders, hips, knees.

You can give an extra 3 minutes of time so that everyone can create their own individual combination of elements.

Note: If the teacher himself takes part in this exercise, in addition to benefiting himself, he will also help insecure and shy students to participate more actively in the exercise.

Stage III. Control

Exercise “The Power of Suggestion”

Time: 20 minutes.

Think about the Power of Self-Hypnosis!

One day a certain man was invited to a friend's house. When he was about to drink the offered cup of wine, it seemed to him that he saw a baby snake inside the cup. Not sparing to offend the owner by drawing attention to this circumstance, he courageously drained the cup.

Returning home, he felt terrible pain in his stomach. Many remedies were tried, but all proved in vain, and the man, now seriously ill, felt that he was dying. His friend, having heard about the patient’s condition, once again called him to his house. Having seated the man in the same place, he again offered him a cup of wine, saying that it contained medicine. When the sufferer lifted the cup, he again saw a baby snake in it. This time he drew the owner's attention to it. Without a word, the owner pointed to the ceiling above the guest’s head, where the bow hung. The patient immediately realized that the baby snake was only a reflection of the hanging bow. Both people looked at each other and laughed. The guest's pain instantly disappeared and he recovered.

Participants stand in a circle and repeat together:

I am the greatest treasure.

Nothing is impossible for me.

This is not a whim of fate.

This is just my whim.

No one can make me stop dreaming.

Only I can stop dreams from becoming reality.

My achievements are determined by your own desires.

I believe in my work.

I dream, I can dream whatever I want.

I can go where I want to go.

I can be whatever I want.

Because I only have one life and one chance to do everything I want to do!

Host: and may life reward you with happiness to make you bright! Challenges to make you strong! Sorrow to make you human! Hope to make you happy!

Believe in yourself! You can do anything!

"Board of Directors"

The game is intended for older schoolchildren.

Most guys imagine what a board of directors is from movies. You can invite them to do something similar at home.

The presenter must come up with a role for each player in advance, set out the goals and capabilities of each character on separate pieces of paper, and distribute the sheets to the players. To make the game exciting, it is necessary that some participants have opposing interests.

The rules of the game are as follows: it is allowed to enter into alliances with other players, it is forbidden to deviate from the goal, substitute other players and exceed the powers received at the beginning of the game.

Those who achieve their goal first win. It is these players who have the most developed leadership abilities.

The presenter must pay attention to how the participants in the game speak in order to understand what qualities they need to develop first.

"Chickens and Foxes"

For children of high school age and teenagers. The maximum number of players is not limited, but should not be less than 11 people.

A leader is chosen, the players are divided into two equal teams, and each team is given a name: “chickens” and “foxes.” A long line is drawn, parallel to which two teams line up at a distance of 1 m. The presenter gets on the line. When he says the command: “Chickens!”, the “chickens” begin to run away, and the “foxes” catch up with them. The team that is catching up must catch or touch the runners. The more chickens the attacking team catches, the better.

The leader can also make the “chickens” team attacking, so that the players do not get used to the fact that they always run away, and the “foxes” attack, and therefore are on guard.

Films and actors

A presenter is selected. He takes the ball, the others enclose him in a circle. The presenter throws the ball to one of the players and names any film - Russian or foreign. The player who receives the ball must quickly name any actor who is involved in it and give the ball back to the leader. If the player fails to find his bearings and name the actor in time, he leaves the game. The same thing happens if the player named the actor, but did not manage to pass the ball in time.

You can play differently. For example, the presenter names the actor, and the player names the film in which this actor starred. The game continues until the last player remains - the winner.

"Greamer"

For children of senior school age.

There are two ways to play the game. In the first case, the players try to convey the human state through facial expressions and color, and in the second, through makeup.

“Create an emotional image”

For children of middle and high school age. Number of participants from four people.

Before the game starts, everyone is given 3 sheets of paper and a pencil.

The presenter invites the players to draw one human face on each sheet of paper, and this face should express some emotion: joy, sadness, anger, dissatisfaction, etc., as chosen by the player. This task will take 10-15 minutes to complete. After this, the presenter collects the drawings from the players and mixes them. Everyone sits in a semicircle near the leader, so that he can be clearly seen. The presenter takes out one drawing and shows (presents) it to all players. The guys, in turn, should try to determine. what emotion the person is expressing. The player who is the author of this drawing should not give hints to others.

If the players guess the emotion correctly, the author of the drawing gets a point.

But it may turn out that when reflecting an emotional image on paper, the author of the drawing has one emotion in mind, and the other children saw another in it. In this case, the player loses one point.

When summing up the results, the winner of the game is the participant with the most points.

Joy or sadness?

For children of senior school age.

All those present are divided into two teams. The first team must leave the room, their participation in the game is limited to the role of an outside observer. The second team starts the game. The host asks the players various questions in the fields of literature, mathematics, and art. The participants in the game answer them.

If the answer is correct, the player receives a small prize - candy, a toy or a souvenir.

After completing the questions, the second team arrives. The participants’ task is to guess from their friends’ behavior which of them answered the questions correctly and which did not. The essence of the game is simple: not all children can contain their joy over a successful answer to a question or, conversely, sadness due to not knowing the correct answer. The second team tries to guess the emotions of the members of the first team.

Of course, not all members of the second team will be able to guess this, guided only by the behavior of the guys from the first. If someone was able to fulfill this condition, he is awarded a certain number of points. Those guys from the first team who managed to restrain their emotions are also celebrated. The winners are those who score the most points.

Exact calculation

For children of senior school age.

Children should be able to analyze a situation, looking at it from the position of an outside observer. Of course, there should be no place for emotions, which only harm close analysis. To teach children this, you can use the following game.

You need to prepare for the game in advance. Its essence is that the presenter reads or tells some story that evokes a lively response from everyone. The children’s task is to express their opinion about the behavior of various characters in this story. But statements should be extremely restrained; any emotions are undesirable in them.

And so that the presenter’s story evokes the most lively response among all the guys, it can be provided with a lot of details and details. In short, you can tell a story from your life, adding many different details to it.

The presenter carefully monitors everyone’s statements. If the player speaks calmly, analyzing the story from the point of view of an outside observer, without showing emotions such as joy, anger or hostility, then the host may appreciate his answers. If a participant in the game fails to contain his emotions, he receives fewer points. At the end of the game the results are summed up. Those who score more points can be considered winners.

"Poor and Rich"

For children of senior school age.

Modern children are clearly aware of the difference between the financial situation of different families. They know exactly whose parents earn a lot and whose parents earn little. The game will help children overcome the painful complex due to the lack of well-being of their family.

The presenter can tell a short story about a family. You can use a story from a literary work or film and include a mention of a poor or rich family. Then he suggests having a conversation on this topic. The questions can be very different, for example: “Who is happier - the one who has more money, or the one who knows how to be content with little?”

Every child has the right to speak out. For example, children can give their own examples about the influence of money on life. As the conversation progresses, everyone should understand that a lot of money is not the most important thing in life. As an example, the presenter can tell stories from the lives of famous people whose material well-being did not bring them happiness.

The game can be somewhat varied. For example, everyone begins to fantasize about how they imagine their future life. He can say what he wants to be when he grows up, how much he would like to earn and how he would like to arrange his home, etc. There are no winners or losers in the game, everyone has the right to their opinion.

Communication with strangers

For children of senior school age.

Children often have difficulty communicating with strangers. For example, in a store they are embarrassed to ask the seller about something, or on the street they cannot muster up the courage to ask how to get to the right address. The game will help you get rid of this complex over time. The essence of the game is simple. The host and one of the participants in the game must start a conversation with one of the strangers. This can happen in the following way: they approach the salesperson in the store. The presenter remains silent, and the player himself must ask the seller in detail about something.

For example, you can choose a wind-up toy and learn everything about how it works. When the player asks the seller about something in detail, the presenter evaluates the level of his communication using a point system. The rest of the guys may be nearby, or they may be waiting for their comrades not far from the store. The game continues, but now the other player must start the conversation.

The conversation options are very different: for example, you can ask an old woman on a bench, a janitor, a policeman, etc. about something. For the ability to start a conversation with a stranger, the presenter awards each player a certain number of points. Of course, there are no winners or losers in the game, but the one who scores the most points may be rewarded with some kind of prize.

Target:

Students’ awareness of the need for goal setting, taking into account their needs and motives.
- teach a step-by-step method to achieve the goal.
- formation of an attitude towards self-analysis.

Methodological equipment: slides, tokens, forms “past successes”, “resources of achievements”, “progress achieved”, “ladder of achievements”, melodies.

One is wide, but unlit. On it every now and then there are cobblestones of fear and despair, and sometimes the road is blocked by rubble of envy and bitterness. There are a lot of pedestrians on it, but you constantly stumble over the stones of alienation and loneliness, because only deaf and dumb people walk nearby. Breaking through the thicket of grievances and guilt, you wearily push the weaker one out of the way. But in the end, this road will exhaust and destroy you.

(Musical accompaniment Melody No. 2 Figure 2)

The second road is long, but bright, with lanterns of faith and confidence burning on it. Passers-by have keen hearing because they hear not only what you say, but also what you feel. On the sides there are beautifully trimmed lawns of mutual support and revenue, and in the flower beds flowers of love, trust and forgiveness burn brightly, trees of mutual understanding and peace of mind provide cozy shade to the tired traveler. Perhaps this road will also tire you, but it will not destroy you.

The first road is the path of unconstructive, destructive communication. The second road is the path of constructive, creative communication. Everyone who is overcome by fear of life strives for the painful first road. Such people have problems with communication. There is only one way to rid people of fear and lead them onto a different path: to give them the opportunity to feel smart, good, kind, loved and interesting.

Exercise: Which picture is closer to you? Sometimes a person rushes about, but isn’t there a middle ground? (black and white stripe). You will place your tokens under the picture that is closest to you at the moment.

Today we have gathered to think about how to live in order to be successful.
Answer the question honestly: (Appendix No. 1 Slide No. 3)

1.Why do we live, what is our purpose?
2.Why do you go to school? What are you taught at school for?
3.What do you want to achieve in life? What are you striving for now? (answers)

There is a contradiction in your answers. It lies in the fact that the main activities at school educational, and the interests of your age lie in the fact that you are now striving for self-affirmation, personal contacts, and the search for personal meaning. What should I do?

1. Understand that adulthood is unthinkable without acquiring knowledge. This is the personal meaning of the teaching.
2. At your age there are opportunities for formation and self-improvement. Today we will work on concepts (Appendix No. 1 Slide No. 4)

Target
Motivation
Past successes
Achievement Resources
Progress achieved
Personal social support

Stage I .

What is a goal? This is what allows us in life to become not losers, but winners, and teaches us to use our best qualities of our personality to achieve something. If a person moves confidently, step by step towards his dream and strives to live the life he imagined, then success will come to him.

Exercise: the target can be near or far. Now formulate your goal, determine for yourself what you want to achieve.

Reflection

Stage II . "Motivation". (Appendix No. 5)

Motives are a set of factors that encourage a person to act; These are the reasons that force you to do something.

As M. Gorky said: (Appendix No. 1 Slide No. 5)
“You must always live in love with something inaccessible to you.
A person becomes taller by stretching upward.”

Exercise: filling out table No. 2

D. Carnegie’s advice “How to succeed”, this is what you need to change in yourself, how to help yourself: (Appendix No. 1 Slide No. 6)

1. Develop willpower.

Success comes to those who strive for it. Don't wait for someone to open you - discover yourself. Tell yourself: I want, I can, I will do. Success prefers to be strongly desired and achieved with maximum effort.

2. Follow your goal.

Every success starts with an idea. Formulate it clearly for yourself, without giving in only to vague dreams. Write down when and what you want to achieve. Focus on this goal by noting intermediate results. If there is a hitch in the movement, determine what the reason is. Try again, but don't lose your main goal.

3. Make an action plan

Schedule in the evening what things need to be done tomorrow. As for long-term matters, you should also write them down if you need to prepare for them.

4. Evaluate yourself objectively.

Describe yourself by answering the following questions:
Am I demonstrating enough of my beneficial qualities?
Do others know about them?
You need to think about your weaknesses and take them into account. Anyone who lies to himself will never achieve success.

5. Keep track of your time.

Determine what time of day you are most productive and creative. Don't waste these best hours. Perform routine tasks only when you still become lethargic and tired. Analyze what you usually spend your time on, try not to waste it aimlessly.

6. Get things done with urgency..

Don’t put off unpleasant things indefinitely, try to get rid of them as quickly as possible, otherwise they will weigh on you. Start immediately doing what seems useful to you.

It is common knowledge that the quality of life does not improve due to dark thoughts, constant worries and pessimism.

8. Listen to others.

Learn what others know. Listen to others before you speak. Never interrupt someone who is speaking.

9. Trust your feelings.

The mind is not everything. Listen to your inner voice, express everything that at first seems incredible.

Stage III . "Past Successes"

Each of you already has some past experience behind you, past successes are your personal strength! It needs to be used! (Appendix No. 2)
(eg: graduated from elementary school without a “3”). Let's remember them. "Resources of Achievement"

This is what you are better at doing, your interests, inclinations. What gives you a feeling of joy, self-confidence, what inspires and fills you with energy (sports, hobbies, music, books, stubbornness, willpower.)

Stage IV. "Ladder of Achievement"

We all strive for success, we want to be successful, but we don’t always succeed. I will now tell you a very important secret: our thoughts determine the characteristics of our personality. What we think determines our destiny. Therefore, we must organize our thoughts and make the right suggestions to ourselves.
Let’s direct our thoughts to our future and try to write what successes you can achieve at certain intervals.

And make a note on the same drawing, how will you prove to others that you have made progress?
(Appendix No. 3)

V stage. "Social support"

And now we will arrange a holiday for ourselves. Imagine that you have already achieved everything we wrote about today. And we have a holiday called “Success Day” (close your eyes, dream). Describe your ideal day. It can be a drawing, or you can write in words, what do you feel? Who's Near You? Where are you? (in the forest, on the lake, in the office, in the apartment; what things surround you: a piano, a computer, a cup of coffee...)

Relaxation:“Love all your “I”s” (Appendix No. 4)

I wish you could go back to when you were a baby. Take a closer look at yourself. Smile at the baby and, opening your arms towards him, say: “I am your future, and I came to love you.” Hug him and take him with you into the present time. Now both stand in front of the mirror so that you can look at each other with love.”
Step back in time to when you first learned to walk. You got up and fell and got up and fell again. And suddenly - you took the first step, then another and another. We were so proud of ourselves, Love the baby.

You are future first graders! You didn't want to leave your mother. You bravely crossed the threshold, and a new stage of your life has begun. You always did your best in every situation in life. Love the baby!
Now you are 10 years old. Do you remember what happened at that time? It was probably wonderful, but maybe you were afraid? You did everything you could to survive. Love this child.

Now go back to when you were a teenager. Perhaps it was deliciously exciting because you had finally grown up. And perhaps it brought you a lot of excitement of a different kind: your peers taught you what you can do and what you can’t do. You tried your best to cope with this difficult task. And you did it in the best possible way. Love the teenager!
Now my school days are behind me. You knew more than your parents. You were ready to start life the way you wanted. You were brave and scared at the same time. Love yourself in your youth!

Now think back to your first day of work. How proud you were of your first salary! You wanted to do everything well. There was so much to learn. You did everything you could for this. Love yourself at that time.
Think about another milestone in your life. About marriage or marriage. About your own child. About the new house. It must have been a wonderful experience?! You dealt with them. Love yourself for it.

Now “put” all your many “I”s in front of you. Stand in front of the mirror so that you can look at each of them, look with love. And here is another “I” of yours. It comes to meet you from the future, extending its arms and saying: “I am here to love you.” Let it be so!.

5. Lesson reflection:

What did today's activity make you think about? Have you tried to look deeper within yourself?
- maybe someone understood the truths of these roads and changed their attitude towards them?
- what do you remember most?

As a sign of gratitude for the pleasant communication, let's all stand in a common circle, hold hands and all say together: “I will be successful!”

There are posters with heterograms, pictograms, and droodles in the hall. During the game, the audience tries to solve them.

Two teams of seven high school students each participate in the competition.

The gong sounds. The presenter comes on stage.

Leading. Good evening, gentlemen, high school students. I am glad to welcome you to the erudite game “Nerds”. You, of course, are already accustomed to the fact that not only people who study flora are now called botanists. Youth slang has given this word a broader concept. A botanist in your language is an educated, enthusiastic, inquisitive person. I am sure that there are many of you like this too. And now we will have a real opportunity to verify this. Let's start selecting participants for the game. Bookmix.

The audience is shown signs on which the letters of two words are written. The one in the audience who can quickly compose a new word from them is invited to one of the teams.

For example:

And now we begin the first round, which is called “It’s Time.”

A musical beat sounds.

Leading. For three minutes I will ask the teams questions. You must answer them quickly. If the team does not have an answer, they waste no time saying the word “next” and will be asked the next question. The team that gives the most correct answers in three minutes will win.

The counting commission counts the number of correct answers and names the winner of the first round. To the sounds of fanfare, the first order of connoisseurs is attached to the order ribbon.

Leading. The second round is called “Do you believe?” The teams were given two signs with the words “yes” or “no”. I will offer you five versions of questions. If the team agrees with what I say, then they raise the “yes” sign, and if they do not agree, they raise the word “no”. The counting commission will count all the correct options and determine the winner of the second round.

— The Colossus of Rhodes is the tallest wonder of the world. (No. Pyramid of Cheops.)

— In Kievan Rus, cabbage gardens were called cabbage gardens. (Yes)

— In medicine, the diagnosis of “Munchausen Syndrome” is given to a patient who likes to lie. (No. For those who love, get treatment.)

— In Persian, the ostrich is called “Shotor-morgh”, that is, “Bird Camel”. (Yes) Sylvester Stallone worked as a cage cleaner at a zoo before Hollywood. (Yes)

The procedure for awarding the order is repeated.

Leading. Let's move on to the third round - "Start it up." Now the teams will have to strain not only their brains, but also their voices, since the answer to my questions will be friendly singing.

— The song is about a piece of land where ugly but kind people live. ("Island of bad luck".)

— A song about a long journey of a little girl in a bright hat. (Song from the movie “Little Red Riding Hood”).

— A song about long-eared grass mowers. (Song about hares from the movie “The Diamond Arm.”)

Presentation of the next order.

Leading. We move on to the fourth round: “Logic is the sister of talent.” The teams are offered logical tasks, and while they solve them, our fans have the opportunity to show off their talent and earn prizes.

Spectators guess droodles, pictograms, heterograms placed on posters in the hall.

Tasks for teams:

—- Divide the number 12 on paper into two equal parts so that half of this number is the number 7. (Roman XII is divided by a line horizontally.)

—- If it is raining at 12 o'clock at night, can we expect sunny weather 72 hours later? (No. In 72 hours it will be 12 o'clock at night again, and the sun doesn't shine at night.)

“Two people entered the room and saw one killing the other. Having seen enough, they calmly discussed it and calmly left. Why? (These two admired I. Repin’s painting “Ivan the Terrible Kills His Son” at the exhibition.)

The results of the fourth round are summed up.

Leading. Fifth round - “Associations”. Each team member will now receive a pencil and a piece of paper. The captains will come up to me and pull out a card with a word written on it. The task of the players and captains is to write on their sheets of paper the associations for the word that they draw out. Two minutes are allotted for this competition, after which we will compare the records of the captains and teams. The more words written by team members that match what the captain wrote, the greater the chance of winning.

One team is given the word “Botany”, the other – “History”.

While the teams are working, the audience is offered a charade:

Try to sing just two notes - And in front of you is a part of something. (C - A)

The viewer who guessed the charade is rewarded and the variants of associations of both teams are listened to, then the results are summed up.

Presenter, This competition is for captains. Here are signs with answer options - A, B and C. I will ask questions and give three answer options. The captains, having chosen their option, will raise the appropriate sign. The counting commission will note the number of correct answers.

— The dance of the little swans from P. Tchaikovsky’s ballet “Swan Lake” includes:

A - 4 ballerinas +

B — 6 ballerinas

B —- 8 ballerinas

—- "Volvo", the name of the car, translated from Latin means:

And - I'm rocking. +

B - wind

B - wheel

— The famous Statue of Liberty is a gift to the American people from:

A - France +

B - Russia

In Great Britain

— The first modern Olympic Games were held:

A - in Paris

B - in Rome

B - in Athens +

The results of the round are summed up and the winner is awarded.

Leading. And finally, the final round of today’s “Nerds” meeting is the “Personal Opinion” competition. The captains leave the hall so as not to hear what will happen on stage. I will ask the teams seven questions. The counting commission will record your answers. Then we will invite the captains and ask them the same questions. In this case, it is necessary to keep it within one minute and not repeat the command’s answers. The captain who completes the task within the allotted time will win.

The results of the round and the final results of the competition are summed up.

Leading. The game is over, orders and prizes have been awarded. The guys proved that they are the most advanced, the most erudite, real “nerds”. Let's welcome them again and look forward to new meetings!
