Biography and science

Born 1930 in the village of Kashtakovo, Kozhevnikovsky district, Tomsk region, RSFSR. After graduating from the Tomsk Medical Institute, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences.

Since 1971 — Head of the Department of General and Molecular Genetics, Kyiv University. Taras Shevchenko. Since 1991 - Professor of this department, from 2001 to 2004 - leading researcher at the Faculty of Biology of this university. His scientific activities are related to the development of problems of protecting the gene pool and ecology.

Non-academic activities

He became famous in connection with his own contradictory statements on a number of unscientific hypotheses: telegony, creationism, “pyramidology”, ufology and the like. Head of the "Ukrainian Society of Pyramidologists" Was a participant in the anti-evolution movement in Kyiv.
