Now you know how to make “Roses” from apples according to a recipe with a photo. Bon appetit!

Any housewife with good aesthetic taste will like “roses” made from apples. The thing is that such a dessert is not just a sweet pastry, but also a table decoration. If you figure out how to make “roses” from apples and follow the recommendations below, the buns will really look like bright red flowers, which are also very tasty:
  • It is recommended to choose large apples for making “roses”, with red or pinkish skin and dense pulp. This way they will look beautiful inside the dessert and keep their shape well;
  • To prevent apple pieces from darkening after slicing, simply pour a small amount of freshly squeezed lemon juice over them. At the same time, the apples will also acquire a piquant sourness, which will appeal to many gourmets;
  • Often the dough for the “roses” takes longer to bake than the apples, so it is better to cover the top of the cakes with foil at the end of cooking. This way the fruits will not burn and will remain fresh and appetizing.

This amount of ingredients makes 5 roses. Instead of cinnamon sugar, you can use your favorite jam or jam. I guess it won't be bad with honey...

Core the apples and cut them into very thin slices. Immediately place the cut slices in a heat-resistant container with cold water and lemon juice (there should be enough water to accommodate all the apple slices).

We cut all the apples this way. Then, in the same container with water and lemon juice, we bake them in the microwave for 3-4 minutes. The apples should become soft, but not fall apart (try bending the slice in half with your fingers - if it breaks, the apples are not ready yet).

Place the finished apples in a colander.

Roll out the dough into a layer 5 mm thick. We cut it lengthwise into 5 strips (approximately 5 cm each). Sprinkle each strip with sugar and cinnamon.

Mentally divide the strip of dough in half and place apple slices on the top.

Cover the apple slices with the lower part.

Roll the strip of dough with apples inside into a roll (in the shape of a snail).

This is how the folding process looks from the side of the apples - as you can see, a rose is formed.

Place the finished roses in muffin tins. Molds for small cupcakes or muffins will prevent the roses from spreading during baking. Perhaps they will keep their shape if they are simply placed on a baking sheet, but I have not tried. ..

We bake the roses at 180C for 30-40 minutes - be guided by your oven and the type of apples (how juicy they are). If suddenly the dough is not ready yet, but the petals are already burning, cover them on top with foil. This is what the finished roses look like.

We decorate them with powdered sugar and quickly invite everyone to the table. Enjoy your tea!

Desserts made from puff pastry are very popular and loved by housewives. Fluffy puff pastry goes especially well with aromatic apples. Today we would like to invite you to prepare roses from puff pastry with apples. Choosing a baking dish

Any housewife knows how difficult it is sometimes to choose a high-quality and convenient baking dish. For this recipe, it is recommended to choose silicone molds, since it is more convenient to bake in them and removing the dish after cooking is less problematic. But if you don’t have such a form on hand, then you can use a metal one (just first line it with parchment or grease it with vegetable oil).

For added strength, many people fasten roses with toothpicks. But if the form is chosen correctly, then this point can easily be omitted. With the right size handy shape, no need for toothpicks.

Let's bake

During the cooking process, sometimes another pressing question arises. Where and how to cook? You already have a list of necessary products, the main culinary idea is puff pastry roses with apples, a step-by-step recipe with photos. Cook in the oven or in a frying pan? This is the last question we have to look at today.

Experienced housewives who often pamper their family with baked goods can, as a rule, safely boast of a good oven. If you are a beginner cook, and the oven in your kitchen leaves much to be desired, then you are better off making roses from puff pastry with apples in a frying pan.

If your oven bakes desserts perfectly, then preheat it to 180 degrees, place the prepared baking sheet with roses and wait about 45 minutes.
Important point. If your dough is not ready yet (you checked it with a toothpick or a match), and the apple petals have already begun to brown or burn, then we recommend using foil. Cover the roses on top and cook the rest of the time like this. Foil will help the dough bake faster and prevent the apple petals from burning.

Serving the dish

Finally, let's talk about serving the dish. Once your puff pastry roses are ready, remove them from the mold and place them on a flat dish or cutting board. We recommend sprinkling a little powdered sugar on top of each rose. If you want a sweeter dessert, then sprinkle more powder. But remember that in this case the roses will not be so impressive. And when there is a little powder, you get a kind of snowy coating that looks original on the red petals.
