3. Lubricate the flesh with fatty baby cream, glycerin or Vaseline. This will protect the skin from drying out and also prevent it from getting too wet.
4. You can dye a fur coat both dry and wet. Therefore, painting usually follows cleaning the product - wet lint helps the paint apply more softly. Take an ordinary brush that hairdressers use to color strands and apply paint to the fur. This must be done quickly, but carefully. Paint over all areas so that there are no light patches left.
5. To give the fur a special color, you can paint the product with several colors using a stencil. To do this, take a thick piece of cardboard and cut small asymmetrical holes on it. Apply the resulting stencil to the fur and paint the fur in certain areas brown. The next step is to paint the center of the brown spots black. This will give you a bright leopard print color.
6. The fur can be dyed not completely, but only its ends. This way you will get a rich and saturated shade. Most often, the ends of the villi are made lighter.
7. A great way to freshen up the product is to paint the ends of the bristles with a special paint for suede, which is sold in aerosol form. Keep the can at a sufficiently large distance and move evenly. This is much easier and faster than classic fur dyeing.
8. After this, leave the fur for the time indicated on the paint package. Usually 30 minutes is enough to get the desired shade.
9. Rinse the fur item thoroughly so that no paint remains on it.
10. Dilute five tablespoons of vinegar in a couple of liters of cool water. Rinse the product in this solution. Vinegar will help maintain softness and shine, and also lock in the color. After this, blot the fur with a dry towel.
11. To prevent the arctic fox from shrinking when drying, the inside needs to be stretched. To do this, use clothespins to hook the edges of the product and stretch it on the table. This way you will prevent deformation.

You need to dry the fur in a ventilated area, possibly on the balcony. Under no circumstances should you dry your Arctic fox in the sun, near a radiator, or with a hair dryer. Brush the fur periodically to prevent it from drying out randomly.

How to dye arctic fox fur a light shade

Dilute the lightening paint according to the instructions. If you are using hydrogen peroxide, dilute it with water in a ratio of 1:3. Apply the prepared product to the fur and leave for 10-15 minutes. It is not recommended to keep the bleaching composition on for a long time, otherwise the villi may become brittle. In this case, you risk being left without fur at all. After this, rinse the fur and leave to dry. Fur can be dyed after bleaching only after the product has completely dried. You should not lighten or dye your fur several times. Once will be enough, otherwise you can irreversibly damage the structure of the villi.
