“The health of citizens is the main capital of any developed society. Undoubtedly, this is an area where it is necessary to strengthen and consolidate the efforts of government, science and business... The scientific program of the congress included more than 200 reports from leading authorities in the industry, representatives of the largest research institutes, medical rehabilitation centers and sanatorium-resort institutions. The XVI International Congress took place on September 27 – 28 in Moscow, in the building of the Moscow City Hall “Rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort treatment 2018.” For 16 years, the congress has remained one of the most authoritative scientific events, highly appreciated by specialists in the field of rehabilitation and spa treatment. The forum has gathered about 2,000 delegates from various regions of Russia, near and far abroad countries, such as Bahrain, Israel, Malaysia, Latvia, Kazakhstan and several others. As a member of the organizing committee of the Congress, Valiullina S.A. organized and conducted a school on pediatric rehabilitation in traumatology, which consisted of five symposiums:

Leading experts in the field of child rehabilitation took part in these symposiums and gave presentations, incl. from the rehabilitation department of the Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology. Svetlana Valiullina herself made three reports at different symposiums: MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH IN REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN WITH TRAUMATIC INJURIES: RELEVANCE, FEATURES, PROBLEMS”; MODERN APPROACHES IN EARLY NEUROREHABILITATION OF CHILDREN AT THE INPATIENT STAGE (“FAST TRACK” PROGRAMS); SANATORIUM TREATMENT IN STAGED PROVISION OF REHABILITATION CARE TO CHILDREN OF MOSCOW.”

As part of the Congress, a meeting was held with the participation of district specialists in medical rehabilitation and chief doctors of children's sanatoriums. A report was presented on the work of the third stage of rehabilitation (outpatient and sanatorium). Once again I drew attention to insufficient work
